My roommate told me to put this up. I doubt anyone will see it but…. I finally finished the Faux headboard! It took me forever haha.
I got the quote from someone else, but made the letters, and decorated them myself. Since I love Disney I figured I would put some Disney into it. So, I chose Disney (or pixar) Movies that I thought really related to childhood and had a good message about growing up.
I’ll just write what each letter had on them, since the pictures are bad, and what meaning I thought that quote had/why I chose that specific quote.
D- Peter Pan “Never say goodbye, because saying goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.” Message: Growing old does not mean growing up. There is a child in all of us.
R- Hercules "I know every mile will be worth my while. When I go the distance I’ll be right where I belong" Message: The transition from childhood to adulthood and finding the place you belong. Discover who you are. There is a hero capable of greatness in all of us.
E- Toy Story “As the years go by, our friendship will never die. You’re going to see, it’s our destiny. You’ve got a friend in me. To infinity and beyond.” Message: the Friends we make along the way stick with us to the very end. Friends don’t give up on friends.
A- Winnie the Pooh "Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." Message: Believe in yourself. More often than not, you will find that you are lost, but as long as you believe in yourself, you will find your way.
M- The Lion King "Yes. The past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it. Remember who you are." Message: Unlock your full potential. Never forget who you are and how you became the person you are. Face situations with courage and learn from your past.
IDK I thought it was a good idea and I think it turned out decent…. ?
DISCLAIMER: DISNEY IS NOT MINE.
